Multiple Variable Declarations of the Same Type in the Same Line

In this blog, we will see how we can declare the same type of variable in a same line, using a comma to separate variable names

 

For Example:

I have declared 4 Integer type of variable as a global in AL Extension. 

Before Business Central 17 (2020 Wave 2).

 

In Business Central 17 (2020 Wave 2) 

you can define the variable together with the comma separator as below:

Business Central hidden feature of Drag & Drop

Hello Readers, 

Hope you all are doing well.

 

Today I came across a hidden feature in Business Central, i.e. File Drag & Drop. 

This does not work exactly like any other Add-ons but this is just a work around for a customer who demands for a drag & drop functionality. 

Lets see below how it works:

There is no such setup or configuration you need to do.

Navigate to any document attachment page or any page in which dialog window open's for choosing a file. 

In the below example I have taken of Custom Report Layout page. 

 

Select the Report ID for which you want to import the layout. (in my case I have selected 50001)

Now click on Import layout button and drag your file and drop it over the CHOOSE button. 

File will be imported directly, in the similar way you can also do for Document Attachment feature in Standard Business Central Pages.
